It seemed far away from me but I was wrong. As soon as I hit the road, it started snowing. It was a nice snow in the beginning. But it covered everywhere within minutes. The main problem wasn't the snow itself, it was the...

However after a point these changes are so significant compared to your primary environment that you notice the change. Going from Texas to New Mexico is one of those changes for me. Even though the geography changes to more desert environment west of Dallas, I still feel a normal change (other th...

I primarily focused on video and the phot quality is not very good but serves the purpose. One day I may get a chance to put them together and put out a video as well, but until then I hope you enjoy this summarized photo report. I will eventually add more text. Life is still full of surprises

Life is still full of surprises. One chapter ends and another chapter begins. There are certain things still as exciting as it used to be. The sun for instance. I wonder is it a sunset or sunrise?

Another sinking sun

Another sinking sun and if I could only fly with Blaze.

Inside out

It was a nice cool day. Very rare in Tuscaloosa. I spend most of the day reading and writing, about secrets of the universe and ghosts around galaxies. It was a shame I couldn't get out and spend longer time outside. We walked a few times, as usual. I tried cooking beans in a thermos, again. This time it worked great. I am back to writing again and she is back to napping, just the moment she jumped up hearing neighbor's dog!

The 10th floor

I checked into the hotel.  My room is in the 10th floor and the elevator took me there in less than 3 seconds! All buildings around the hotel are tall. The city is big, not enormous but big enough. I noticed I haven't been in a big city and in a higher than 4 story building in a very long time. Suddenly every thing is under my feet, at least for a night. It rained a little as I was driving here. This is my favorite time of year. Cool weather, fresh grass, partly cloudy days.

Destination bed

A full day of work, Finished grading ~90 assignments, walked to the department 3 times, and back home again.  Missing my bike, I have to replace the tires on my bike soon. A few good news and a few bad news, misery is still a conserved quantity. There is a tranquil sense of suspense in the air. The weather was fantastic, partly cloudy, nice cool wind, low humidity and singing birds. The new neighbor doesn't like cats nor dogs. Poor stray cats won't get any food anymore. Time is flying, like clouds, and the bitter, calm, freeing sense of not belonging; but such a lovely day, such a calm night.
