Valley Of Gods is a nice, quiet location for camping and hiking. Can you see me down there? Another couple of days here and it was time to move on. We started heading back east. Very cold but amazingly beautiful night at Angel Peak. On my way, I stopped at a thrift store in Phoenix and purchased the only radio they had. I suppose I had too much silence over last few weeks and this crappy radio was the solution. It kind of worked, the main problem was on/off function and the volume, basically they will work unpredictable but tuning was solid nice. Made in August ...

I was also in snowbird state, Arizona which is known to have comfortable winters. I was relaxed and had more time of a little better cooking. Twyla on the other hand didn't have enough experience with cacti and was walking on thrones every now and then. Eventually she learned her lessons and stayed away from cacti. I spent about a week in this campsite. ...
