My hiking shoes evolution

Starting from heavy and getting lighter and lighter every year. I am afraid, one day I will really be hiking barefoot!

One January Sunday

8:30 am:  It was supposed to rain this morning but it didn't. It was overcast and warm, for a winter day. The MPR weather report was talking about the cold weather in Minnesota and a promise for a sunny day today. It's cold up there and I had to open the window to get some cool breeze. Twyla is sleepy these days. She is relaxed these day but she is still leash reactive.  12:30 pm: And it started raining. Loud thunders and heavy rain. The cemetery was absolutely beautiful when we walked in. Twyla wasn't comfortable and was hiding behind my sofa. 4:10 pm: We went for a walk. Nice after rain walk. I walk her a little longer these days. Just to improve our stamina. She managed to find some food despite my effort to stop her. But good thing is she is so tired, she just wants to sleep.

Diamonds on the window and snow in t-town

It turned cold very fast. It is supposed to snow tonight, which is a surprise in Tuscaloosa. When temperature drops after a warm humid day, windows accumulate dew. It looks like a thousand diamond surface lit up by the street lights.   and listening to John Prine: https://youtu.be/2xhmPectY9U
